Learn about how the grant will soon be included in the national funding formula, the most recent allocations of the grant, and how it's calculated.

From April 2021, funding will be paid through the national funding formulae (NFF)

Funding for your increased pension costs will be included in the schools, high needs and central school services block (CSSB) of the NFF, instead of being a separate grant. 

For mainstream academies, a separate grant payment will be still be made in April 2021 to cover the period April to August 2021, and from September 2021 funding will be incorporated into NFF allocations. 

This is explained in the guidance available here, under ‘Transition to the national funding formulae’.
