School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document (STPCD) updated for 2022

The DfE has updated the STPCD - the changes came into force on 1 September 2022. The main changes are:

  • All teachers get a 5% pay increase, with higher increases for those on some parts of the main pay scale
  • Working days for the 2022/23 school year are reduced to 194 to account for the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II in September 2022
