As an executive leader (as defined by the Governance Handbook, section 3.1), you need to provide your governing board with the information it needs to do its job well. 

Your board has a responsibility to hold the executive leader to account for the educational, financial and organisational performance of your school. So the information you provide needs to help your board fulfil this responsibility.
