Use this checklist to help you prepare

It covers:

  • Premises and facilities
  • Welfare and communication for pupils and families
  • Preparing staff
  • Remote teaching
  • Immediate actions to take so you can close your school securely

If you are asked to close, use this checklist alongside any specific guidance from your local authority.
