PE and sport premium: reporting requirements

You must complete the DfE's digital reporting form by 30 September 2026

You can change and resubmit your return until this time.

Before starting it, take a look at the PE and sport premium guidance and conditions of grant, and the guidance on submitting the form.

Make sure you have:

  • A DfE Sign-in account
  • Details of how much PE and sport premium funding your school received, and whether there is any unspent funding
  • Total grant spending, including for:
    • Staff CPD
    • Upskilling for swimming
    • Extra-curricular activities, equipment and resources
    • Memberships
    • The School Games Organiser network
    • External sports competitions and coaching staff
  • Information about funding which has been targeted to any specific group of pupils, e.g. those with SEND, long-term medical conditions, girls, those who are disadvantaged
  • Aspirations for targeted support from the new PE and School Partnerships Network
  • Swimming and water safety attainment, alongside spending and impact
