In the news: Education secretary announces consultation on national tests at ks1 (2/11/2015)
Education secretary Nicky Morgan is to announce a review of primary assessment, which could lead to the reintroduction of national tests at KS1. The DfE wants KS1 test data to be monitored centrally, to enable pupil progress to be tracked more easily.
