School Wellbeing, supported by Leeds City Council, has made an example risk assessment for cooking in schools. The assessment lists hazards, such as general hygiene, food contamination and burns, and explains:

  • Who might be harmed
  • The risk level
  • What's being done to control the risk
  • Who is responsible
  • When action was taken
