Ensure the following checks are carried out on your governors:

  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Barred list check (if they're engaging in regulated activity at your school)

You should also complete section 128 checks (they should have this check because a section 128 direction disqualifies a person from being a governor of a maintained school)
