QFT is about inclusivity and supporting all pupils' learning
It's the idea that high-quality teaching should be your first step to responding to pupils who have or may have special educational needs (SEN). This is because additional interventions cannot compensate for a lack of good quality teaching.
High-quality teaching that is differentiated and personalised will meet the individual needs of the majority of pupils.
This is explained in the Special Educational Needs and and Disability (SEND) Code of Practice, on pages 25 and 99.
