Lesson plans and activities

  • The Family Planning Association has updated its 'Growing up with Yasmine and Tom' resource to meet the new curriculum. It includes a series of age-appropriate lesson plans and interactive whiteboard activities that are matched to the Key Stage (KS) 1 and KS2 curriculum
  • NSPCC Learning has free lesson plans and teaching resources for:
    • Helping children understand privacy and personal space (called PANTS)
    • Sex and relationships
  • Life Support Productions has produced a DVD which covers topics such as consent, pregnancy and relationships, including same-sex relationships. Accompanying lesson plans are also available to download for free

Jigsaw has a PSHE scheme of work that covers statutory relationships and health education. It's available on a yearly subscription basis
