Download and adapt our staff self-assessment tool and encourage your teachers to complete it. 

Ask staff to respond honestly, emphasising that you want to help them feel more comfortable and confident teaching the subject.

This will give you a good understanding of how confident your staff are in teaching geography, and help them reflect on their own skills and knowledge.
