Before you start

Decide a clear focus: what are you looking for? Where do you expect to find it?

Agree your criteria: what does good look like? What do you expect to see?

Decide on a work sample: this should be led by your focus.

Agree the scope: what sample of books will you need (considering age, gender, ability etc)?
