News briefing: Schools should be more involved in mental health provision, says report
Secondary schools should play a central role in early intervention mental health services, a think tank report recommends. The report, published by the IPPR, says that schools should be guaranteed access to at least one day a week of on-site support from a mental health professional by 2020.
