Adapt it to suit your school's context. It's been approved by Forbes Solicitors.

It covers the more general aspects of EYFS provision, such as your curriculum and how you work with parents. 

It's likely that you cover safeguarding and welfare issues in the other policies and procedures that EYFS settings are required to have - such as your child protection, health and safety, and complaints policies.

This policy cross-references those other policies where appropriate and lists them in appendix 1.

Please note: This model policy is aimed primarily at maintained schools and academies, but can be easily adapted to suit any school.
