Although you expect all staff to have read your behaviour policy, it's good practice to check that: 

  • They understand what the policy means in practice
  • Staff (including newly qualified teachers (NQTs), support staff and supply staff) apply it consistently across your school

If you make changes to you policy, you should also make sure all staff understand these changes.
