Examples of letters
Primary school
In a letter to parents, Westwood Community Primary School explains that nut allergies can lead to potentially life-threatening allergic reactions.
The letter lists foods that should not be brought to school, such as:
- Chocolate spreads
- Some granola bars
- Sauces that contain nuts
- Some Asian foods, such as satay

It reminds parents that the school is nut-free (including sesame seeds).
