Video of ‘outstanding’ EYFS provision

Ofsted has produced a video showing good practice in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) at The Mead Community Primary School in Wiltshire. The setting was graded ‘outstanding’ in February 2014. Although inspected under the previous framework, you may still find it useful.

The video looks at how the direct teaching of specific skills sits alongside activities that children choose for themselves.
