This model refers to the definition of a leading practitioner as set out in the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document (STPCD). The STPCD doesn't provide a list of specific responsibilities for leading practitioners, so we've based this model on the most common features that other schools include.
You'll need to adapt it to suit your school’s context, needs and priorities. For example, if the leading pracitioner is going to be allocated to a specific phase/department/subject.
