Use this document to help you check your pupils' understanding of new vocabulary introduced in years 1 to 6.
This list of vocabulary is based on the attainment targets in the National Curriculum, which were used to identify the core language that your pupils will need to understand and use to meet the expected standards.
Note that it's intended as a guide to what your pupils should know, and not an exhaustive list.
