New guidance on medical conditions delayed

We're waiting for the DfE to publish its revised statutory guidance on supporting pupils with medical conditions before we update this policy.

The DfE consulted on proposals for the new guidance and will be carrying out further work before publishing it.

Allergy safety requirements sit in a separate policy and guidance

The draft medical conditions guidance that was consulted on also contained requirements around allergy safety – the DfE has published these requirements in its statutory guidance on allergies.
