You can decide whether or not you need a stand-alone smoking, vaping and e-cigarettes policy. It's not statutory, but many schools choose to have one.

Primary examples

Dothill Primary School in Shropshire has an Anti-smoking policy which includes:

  • The prohibition of smoking and vaping on school premises
  • The expectation that vistors and contractors comply with the policy
  • Support available for smokers
