What's the approach?
Ark Kings Academy has designed its approach to inclusion to address the barriers to learning faced by the school’s cohort that have historically led to low pupil attainment, low engagement, poor attendance and behaviour issues.
The approach aims to:
-
Address intersecting pupil barriers through targeted on-site support
-
Maintain a strong sense of relationship, belonging and connection between vulnerable children and the school community
Ark Kings Academy delivers this support across 5 specialised inclusion hubs across the primary and secondary sites. Each hub provides timebound support and interventions for pupils facing barriers to learning or wellbeing.
