What is a menopause action plan?

Your action plan sets out what you will do to support staff through the menopause, and make your school a menopause-friendly place to work. It works with your menopause policy to detail the specific actions you will take and who is responsible for them.

Large employers set to be required to have one in place by spring 2027

If your school or trust employs 250 or more staff, a menopause action plan will help you meet the menopause part of your wider duty around equality action plans. 

These are set to be required from spring 2027, but you can do this voluntarily before then.
