Download the documents below to help you standardise the assessment of writing for Key Stage (KS) 1 and KS2 English (note: end of KS1 teacher assessment is no longer statutory).
Use the templates to:
- Demonstrate how pupils' writing samples meet the age-related attainment targets in the National Curriculum (see these targets in the KS1 and KS2 English programmes of study)
- Help you explain how you've collected writing samples and checked them for accuracy
