All pupils, including those with special educational needs (SEN), are included in calculations of whole-school progress measures.

How are whole-school progress measures calculated?

Secondary schools The progress 8 measure is a type of value-added measure and captures the progress a pupil makes from the end of primary school to the end of Key Stage (KS) 4. Pupils’ results at the end of KS4 are compared with the achievements of other pupils
