Take a look at recommended resources to help educate yourself and your staff about LGBTQ+ issues. You can use them to improve your understanding of gender and sexuality, and make your school more inclusive.

How to use these resources

You don’t have to read everything, or cover every area straight away. Try to look at a few different topics, or focus on the topics that will be most valuable for your school right now.

For example, if you’re not confident with what pronouns to use for a trans person, start with a book about gender identity. If it's a priority for your school to focus on staff equity and inclusion, take a look at a resource about staffing or becoming a more inclusive school, and share it with everyone.
