What is a contracts register and why do I need one?
You’re not required to have a contracts register, but it’s good practice to have one.
Stay organised, and: Store details of your contracts, suppliers, order numbers, renewal dates and other important information Keep track of where you are with each contract, to stay on top of the steps you need to take with each one Save money. Use the benchmarking tool to: Check what other schools are spending and compare it with the cost of the relevant contract on your register, to help you decide if you should renew the contract See where you can purchase together
