Tips for writing the report
Listen to what your board wants to see
Your trustees should request the information that goes in the report. Be flexible and adapt the content of your report to suit trustees' needs to enable them to fulfil their role.
Don't make it too long
We'd suggest 3 sides of A4 as a maximum. This will keep it to only top-level, important information (see below). It should encourage discussion, so it's not like the report itself has to go into minute detail.
