What are RISE attendance and behaviour hubs?

The DfE's regional improvement for standards and excellence (RISE) attendance and behaviour hubs programme is an initiative to support schools to improve their attendance and behaviour. 

Schools who join the programme will be grouped into hubs based on their region. Each hub will have a 'lead' school which other schools can learn and receive advice and support from.

It’s aimed at senior leaders responsible for attendance and behaviour in their school. Schools that join the programme can become partner schools, with benefits that include:

  • Support from the lead school in your hub
  • Access to self-assessment and action-planning tools
  • Connection to other schools to share effective practice and learning
