Teaching Tolerance

Teaching Tolerance, based in the US, provides free teaching resources. Teaching Tolerance has a toolkit on their website on 'Reframing Classroom Management.'

The toolkit looks at the 'how' and 'why' behind pupil behaviours and teacher responses. Their model focuses on:

  • Understanding and distinguishing behaviour
  • Rethinking control and power dynamics
  • Be proactive instead of reactive
  • Responding to the child, not the behaviour

North Lincolnshire Council

North Lincolnshire has a behaviour toolkit for schools. It was developed to help schools support pupils with SEND, but could be applied for any pupil for setting. 

The toolkit includes a behaviour assessment tool and classroom environment audit.
