You’re expected to plug gaps in teachers’ knowledge

Ofsted expects your teaching staff to have expert knowledge of the National Curriculum and the subjects they teach. If teachers have gaps in their knowledge, you must make sure they're supported so that ineffective teaching does not disadvantage pupils.
