This model refers to the definition of a leading practitioner as set out in the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document (STPCD). The STPCD defines leading practitioner as "a teacher in a post the primary purpose of which is to model and lead improvement of teaching skills", but doesn't provide a list of specific responsibilities for leading practitioners.
