Following the UK's exit from the EU, the Find a Tender service (FTS) has replaced the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) and Tenders Electronic Daily (TED). Any notices published after 31 December 2020 should use FTS, while any published before this date are still available on TED.
Check whether you need to send an ITT
You'll need to write an ITT if you're:
- Running a mini-competition through a framework – take a look at your framework to see if you can select a supplier from a list or if a mini-competition is required (those are your 2 options when using a framework)
- Buying high-value things below the Public Contracts Regulations (PCR) procurement threshold
- Buying things that are over the PCR procurement threshold
