These requirements apply to both mainstream and special independent schools.
What we mean by 'required'
Our checklist includes information that:
- You ‘must’ publish on your website, if you have one
- You ‘should’ publish, based on statutory government guidance. This is because you’ll need a good reason for not publishing it
- We strongly advise you to publish because legislation or guidance says you’re expected to ‘make it available’ to the public or to parents/carers – publishing it on your website is the best way to do this
