Understand your requirements on reporting

You must publish information about how you spend your allocation for the 2022/23 academic year on your website by 31 July 2023 at the latest. 

This includes:

  • The amount of primary PE and sport premium received
  • A full breakdown of how it has been spent, or will be spent before the end of the academic year
  • Details of the impact of the funding on pupils’ PE, physical activity, and sport participation and attainment
  • Details of how the improvements will be sustainable in the future
  • The percentage of pupils within your year 6 cohort for the 2022/23 academic year who can:
    • Swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres
    • Use a range of strokes effectively 
    • Perform safe self-rescue in different water-based situations

Multi-academy trusts can publish 1 report for all its primary schools, as long as each school’s information is identifiable. If your
