This article is based on the DfE's non-statutory guidance on mobile phones in schools. It sets out best practice on developing a policy to ban mobile phone use and similar devices during the school day. 

Put a policy in place to ban mobile phone use

It can be a standalone policy, or part of your behaviour policy.

Explain how you will stop pupils from using their phones during the school day, including at break and lunchtimes, and in the classroom.
