Adapt our template to follow your school's appraisal policy.

It reflects The Education (School Teachers’ Appraisal) (England) Regulations 2012 which state that you must:

  • Review the performance of all teachers in your school for each appraisal period (usually every 12 months) – this applies to all school teachers, including those who are members of the senior leadership team (SLT)
  • Provide a written report to teachers for that appraisal period

We created this template with Jeremy Bird, an associate education expert, and it's in line with the NEU's appraisal recommendations.
