Provide parents/carers with 2 written progress reports
Provide these reports:
- When the child is aged between 2 and 3 (known as the 'progress check at age 2'), and
- At the end of the EYFS (known as the 'EYFS profile', or 'EYFSP')

What to report to parents/carers of 2-year-olds
You must give parents and carers a short written summary of their child's development in the prime areas:
- Communication and language
- Physical development
- Personal, social and emotional development
Identify the child’s strengths in these areas, and any areas where their progress is less than expected.
