Are there pupil surveys on online safety? We link to examples of questionnaires for pupils of different ages that include questions on online safety, cyberbullying and social networking. You will also find questionnaires for parents, and a video on educating primary pupils about social media.

Questionnaire for KS1 pupils

Somerset County Council has created an online safety questionnaire for pupils in Key Stage 1 (KS1). It asks pupils:

  • What devices they use
  • Whether they feel safe using the internet at home and at school
  • Whether anything they've seen online has upset them
  • Whether they have a favourite website, app or game

The questionnaire has tick boxes for pupils to use and pictures to help them understand the questions.

Questionnaires for KS2 pupils

Somerset County Council has also created an online safety questionnaire for pupils in KS2. The questions ask pupils:

  • How they go online
  • What they watch
  • What they share on social media, and what platforms they use
  • What games they play online
  • How they find information online, and how they know if its accurate
