Encourage flexible applications in your job adverts
Let applicants know that you’re open to the possibility of job shares. This can be a simple sentence, such as 'talk to us about flexible working options in this role'.
This will:
- Open up conversations about job shares from the start of the process
- Help you attract more candidates
- Attract a more diverse range of candidates
Include this in job adverts at all levels, from leadership positions to support staff. Even if you’re not specifically planning for a position to be a job share, be open to the possibility and start thinking about how you can make it work best for the specific role.
