Use our template letter to reassure parents that gifts are not necessary

Rising costs are likely to have a significant negative impact on families' finances this winter. As such, you may want to revise your approach to gift-giving by emphasising that staff are not expecting presents. 

Download and adapt our template letter to:

  • Request parents to not buy end-of-term gifts for staff due to the cost-of-living crisis (if that's your school's approach)
  • Encourage homemade cards and letters instead of gifts
  • Encourage parents who still wish to give something to donate to a charity instead
