If your academy trust is subject to a Financial Notice to Improvement, it must:

  • Comply with all of its terms
  • Publish it on the trust website within 14 days of it being issued, and retain it on there until the notice is lifted by the ESFA
  • Waive the right to delegated authorities and seek ESFA prior approval on those transactions set out in the Academies Financial Handbook
