- Arrange a meeting with the headteacher
- Appoint a designated mentor
Our Lady and St Joseph Catholic Primary School in Tower Hamlets has a staff induction policy that sets out their personalised induction programmes for all employees, including volunteers, agency staff and governors.
The induction programme includes:
- Arrangements to welcome new staff and identify their needs
- Introduction to key personnel
- If appropriate, a tour of the school to answer questions and give information about the facilities
- A training and CPD timetable
- A list of what training and resources should be included
